BIN not paid!

A buyer bought an item last Tuesday BIN but still hasn't paid  or contacted me:mad: despite 2 invoices. I notice on Selling Manager the checkout icon is greyed out meaning "checkout not completed". What exactly does this mean? Did she click on BIn and then not click on complete or something>?
Thanks
Thanks

I think the checkout not completed bit just means he/she hasn't paid yet. Have you tried to email them besides the invoice. I usually do that before I start a NPB process and 99% of the time I get paid straight away.

The message below is what I usually send
Hi,
May I kindly remind you that Items must be paid for within 7 days to prevent item being relisted and ebay notified.
If you have problems paying for the items please contact me rather then getting a NPB strike against you. If I don't hear from you by ........ or receive a payment I will have to take further actions.

Just open an unpaid dispute, if they're going to pay they usually do as soon as the disute is opened.0

I sell all my of items now on BIN. You would be surprised how many people purchase & then you have to spend 2 weeks trying to track down payment.
As the previous Op said start the NPB process, you may well get a quick response.0 -
Thanks all
I was going to try a "firm but friendly" email as a last resort and then open a dispute, but that icon confused me for a while!
Will send that email today. You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -
I agree with the others, I would also suggest that the next time you set up a BIN that you ask for immediate payment. There is no chance for someone forgetting then!!0

I sell 95% of my items on BIN, but must admit I rarely have any payment problems.
8 days is too long though - and I'd have put in a Non Payment yesterday.
As mentioned above, if Paypal is your only acceptance of payment, to remove the risk of this happening in future you could select it that customers have to pay whilst they buy it.0 -
I ask for payment within 7 days but do accept cheques or PO's. I have never had any problems until now, and she does have 400+ excellent feedback most stating prompt payer, so i was giving her the benefit of the doubt in case something had happened.
I have it as BIn and auction so not sure if i can say pay immeadiatelyYou're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -

If you accept postal payments then you'll probably find the payment is stuck in the post due to various strikes taking place.
I get very few cheques anymore, but I do usually find they take about 8-12 days to arrive even without postal problems. If you prefer speedy payment then you're only option is to go to paypal only.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I thought that may have happened too, but it's very rude to ignore me and not tell me that she has paid by cheque or PO.You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -

Buyer might not be as addicted as we are! When I am at home I do log into my main account probably once a day, but might leave my other accounts semi dormant for a few days, maybe even a week if I haven't bought much.
I also confess to having bought a whole load of stuff 2 days before I left for 8 days vacation (my house was not empty so parcels could be taken in), I never told my sellers I was away so if they had tried to contact me they would have had no response for near on 9 days in all. In fact one seller has sent me 2 emails, both feedback begging..the second even said 'I have already emailed you once and am worried as you didn't respond with feedback as required' (not sure I follow that?).I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
