Asking questions after aucition, am i right??

I have just sold something on ebay that is going towards my new parts for badly battered bike. however the person won the auction, then left it a day telling me to be patient as they are going abroad for two weeks and money will take time to come, i wanted to relist the item as could do with the money, do you think i am right as the person only told me about late payment AFTER the auction

admitidly i have won things on ebay but made sure the person agreed to me paying late.

am i wrong to relist or send second chance

Thanks

Andy

I would be tempted to relist or 2nd chance offer

you should send them a message telling the buyer you are going on holiday for 2 or 3 weeks after their holiday so you would rather get it sorted now
if they cant pay tell them you are going to relist

    hope this helps

Hi, send a message saying sorry but ebays t&cs state that payment must be made within 7 days and if not I will have to file an unpaid dispute in order to reclaim the cost of selling the item. If you are willing you could offer to hold the item after payment until they are back but I wouldn't wait weeks for a payment that may not turn up.

I wouldn't relist or 2nd chance until 7 days are up.

I'd contact them, as above, and ask for payment within 7 days or you will follow eBay guidelines on these issues (nice way of saying NPB!)
