electoral roll

Hello,

I applied for a barclays current account and was declined and i think it was because i am not on the electoral roll at my address, I got myself registered and called into the town hall and they said i will go on the electoral roll on the 1st of December.
Will i be able to get a barclays current account a few days after the 1st of December? Does it get updated automatically on the credit reference agency that im on the electoral roll?

I've never had any credit products or bank accounts so i don't think i will be able to check because all the websites ask for a card to sign up?

The councils send the information to the CRA's in December, expect it to appear around a month or so after.
