I use Firefox most of the time with no problem.
But I keep IE for online banking with Egg money, just tried to look at my accounts and move some money round and whenever i select a drop down box the thing crashes does anybody have any ideas as to why and how i can stop it from doing it, its doing it outside of the online banking as well.

Try restoring default settings in the Tabs dialouge box - Tools/Internet Options/General - click settings button in Tabs and restore defaults...
I had this when I tried changing these settings for new pages to open in a new window rather than a new tab. Everytime I opened IE7 from start menu it crashed!!!0 -

I use Firefox for Egg and it works well...other than checking other bank's accounts, which is what you're doing I suppose? I presume you've done virus/spyware scans? Would the Opera browser (which was free last time I checked) let you check other accounts? Or, maybe your could do a System Restore to a date before you encountered the problem? All fairly obvious stuff I suppose but never mind!0

I've got savings, joint current and credit card accounts all linked to the egg money thing so its good to be able to view them all in the same place just wish i could figure out whats wrong with IE

have you tried uninstalling IE7 (to back to 6) and then re-installing?
It may be a problem with the install or a change that has been made, so reinstalling it may solve it.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
Will give uninstallation a go tonight, when i'm back from work.
Tried using Avaunt but that just crashed in the same way, think it use part of IE7, recently uninstalled Opera don't know if that has anything to do with it?0
