Changp of supplier taking a long time.
Moved into a new property on the 15th sept, kick off the change of supplier with BG before I moved out of the old property (BG were old supplier, asked them to supply the new property too), but I'm still waiting for the swap, rang eon and they say to ring BG but BG say they can't do anything, they (BG) have started taking D/D payments...problem is I'm probably stuck on the standard Eon tarrif so paying more than I need too.
Anyway to get them to sort this out faster?

Sadly, it does work quite like that. Your new property already has a supplier and you need to tell them when you moved in with a meter reading as you are on a 'deemed contract' which cannot be avoided. You are then free to switch. You can expect a bill from the 'old' supplier up until the date of the switch.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
