British Gas "Miscellaneous adjustment" £12 Credit

Just logged in to my British Gas account to submit this month's meter readings, and noticed my account was £12 in credit.
Looking at the transaction history, I was awarded a £12 "Miscellaneous adjustment" on 4th November.
I'm not complaining about being given £12, but intrigued to know what it's for! Any ideas?

Green rebate, just about everyone should be getting it.

The £12 is courtesy of the government as they have altered the green levy (as molerat says) to reduce energy prices slightly. Every little helps!0

Thanks both! Pity they didn't put something more meaningful than "Miscellaneous adjustment" in there. If it had said something like "Green Rebate" I could have Googled it and found the answer straight away0
