There are three types of people in the world, those who can add up and those who can't.0 -
CHEAPEST would be coach to London Victoria, then coach to Norwich.
Book them as separate trips on www.nationalexpress.co.uk and it may cost as little as £5 in total
If you have a PAYG Oystercard then it would be cheaper to take the Tube to Victoria then coach to Norwich but that involves a lot more walking than the 2 coach option0 -
Still one £1 funfare Victoria to Norwich at time of posting, leaving at 13.00 that day.
There is an LT bus that goes between Heathrow bus station and Victoria, probably cheaper than nat express, certainly with Oyster and without the hassle of the tube.0 -
The cheapest way will be the Piccadilly line to Earls Court and then the District/Circle line to Victoria. Then its a bit of a walk (well sign posted) to Victoria coach station. From there you can pick up a "funfare" on the national express.
Otherwise its still the Piccadilly into London, change at Holburn for the Central line to Liverpool St and then "one" railway to Norwich - you can get advanced singles for this.
Bear in mind that with any cheaper tickets, you do have to travel on the coach/train specified or your friend will need to buy new tickets.0 -
Going to Liverpool Street via Holborn means using a lot of stairs. It's probably easier to get onto the District Line from the Piccadilly line and change somewhere between Sloane Square & Tower Hill onto the Circle line to Liverpool Street
Alternatively take the Heathrow CONNECT to Ealing Broadway then a Central line Tube direct to Liverpool Street
If you are using the Piccadilly line to/from Heathrow and you need to change from/to the District line the best place to do it would be Hammersmith as it's a walk of about 10 feet to the next platform0
