My husband asked me to make a payment for him towards his Tesco Credit card as he was away on business. He currently has a balance on 0%. I paid £60 thinking this was enough and have today found his bill with minimum payment due of £93 by 5th November. I have called them and paid extra £40 today and paid £40 today by online banking, hoping of a faster payment. They won't discuss with me as not my account. Will he lose 0%.?

Possibly. He will need to phone up and grovel and hope for the best.0

My husband has just called Tesco. Apparently this is not their practice to remove 0% but we will receive a late payment notification on our record. Don't know if this means credit record or just with Tesco. No point in me worrying myself sick nothing can be done now.0

As your payment is only 2 days late your credit file will not be affected :j0

Why don't people just have a direct debit to make the minimum each month??0

i would try to get them to agree to set your record straight. you have paid £140 very quickly, when only £93 was required.0
