AA credit card rewards

Decided to ditch my AA credit card as rewards are now so poor. I have just tried to redeem my points balance of over 2000 and i cant claim a thing as i hav'nt got enough! Not long ago i could have got shopping vouchers for that but now i need a minimum of 8000. I am so cross but prefer to ditch these points rather than keep using the card now and will stick to my Tesco one.
