in Credit cards
Heeelp please,
I have a UK account to which a EU account is connected (same bank but two different branches) and they function as two separate accounts. Salary etc goes into my UK account. On my EU account I have an overdraft to which I pay interest.
Does anyone know if it would be possible to open a 0% balance account in ie Barclays and transfer my overseas overdraft to that?
Any help much appreciated!! Thanks :T

You would need to get a card that allows money transfers (aka super balance transfers). These allow you to transfer money in to your current account, which you can then use as you like. You may need to pay it to the sterling current account, and then do a transfer from there to your EU account.
The fees are slightly higher than normal credit card transfers. MBNA cards are the main provider of money transfer cards.

What's 'EU'? You can possibly have a € account in a UK bank/branch, but not a 'European Union' account.Heeelp please,

I know 0% Balance Transfer credit cards, but I've never heard of a "0% balance account". Do you mean 0% overdraft?and they function as two separate accounts. Salary etc goes into my UK account. On my EU account I have an overdraft to which I pay interest.
