  • Do you have a crystal ball? Checked the Met Office long range predictions?

As part of the UK it can be flooded as per this year, can be fairly mild as per last year or can be 6' of snow as per 4 years ago.
  • As II says its hard to predict, but I'd pack wellies and waterproofs generally its quite wet and if its not raining it'll be soggy.

Cornwall is very changeable weather wise, I've driven from Bodmin in the pooring rain to St Ives where it was glorious sunshine! Luckily I had packed for this kind of weather.

By the way a small tip (you might know this) but the locals pronounce it Mowzul as opposed to Mouse Hole, sure fire give away that your not a local. :-)

Probably a bit early for when your going but Tom Bawcock's Eve (23rd December) is a great time to visit.

I know there has been a lot of flooding in the West Country, but was it so bad that Cornwall is now classed as an overseas destination?

Crossing the Tamar Bridge gives you that going abroad feeling.

A good thing about Cornwall in winter is that all narrow side roads you have to negotiate to get anywhere should be fairly free of traffic, save for the odd tractor.
  • As has been mentioned it has British weather but as it is so narrow it is quick to go from one side to the other and the weather can be very different. If you have a tablet/laptop with you have a look at the webcams in different resorts
  • thanks all went to Dorset last year brilliant weather then the week we came home the dreadful storms so looking forwards to it thanks look out for two jack russells one called milly one called ernest
