Advice Required - Appealing to IAS for a PNC from Parking Awareness Blackpool.

Hi There,
I have already appealed to the PCC using the advice/templates here and it’s been rejected (Surprise Surprise)!
Parking awareness use the IAS for further appeals and the advice on here is to post pics of the Signage for further advice (and that it may not even be worth appealing to IAS).

Hope that image/link works?
anyway relevant points:
It was a hire car.
The PNC has the Vehicle model down wrong (down as a Toyota Sufi when it was a Toyota Aygo).
The land was a small parking patch outside a closed down (and for sale) restaurant.
The appeal rejection didn't give any IAS reference number - just states they need the reg and PNC number.
Any advice for me?
Thanks, Chris

My first advice is not to start the same thread four times. Most likely some of the regulars have already ignored you as a result.
Looks like one of those where appealing to the IAS might be a waste of time. You could try the new tactic of cancelling the alleged contract. It'll confuse the hell out of them if nothing else (I say them but I'm pretty sure Matthew Wild is a one-man-band).
You allege that the sum demanded is payable under the terms of a contract entered into with yourselves. The existence of any such contract is denied, but since you claim it does exist please note the following.
I hereby give notice of the cancellation of the contract for the supply of the following service: parking at ?????? on dd/mm/yyyy. This notice is given under the terms of the The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Sign it, date it and give your address.
Then ignore everything unless you get a Letter Before Claim from Parking Awareness or their solicitors, or you get genuine court papers. Ignore debt collectors, but I'd be interested to know if you get a letter from Vanquish Debt Recovery. We don't need to hear about letters from Debt Recovery Plus or any of its trading styles.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Thanks Bazster,
I didn't see the duplicate posts until I got home - tried to post in work, but it kept timing out. I've corrected it now
OK, so why would the appeal be a waste of time? Is it because the signage is all correct and gives me no grounds for appeal? Or is it because there's no real way/not worth them pursuing it?
I will try your suggestion of "cancelling the aledged contract" and see where that goes.
So to clarify - am I ignoring them hoping they give up, and failing that just pay it if they get as far as court papers or letter before claim? I'm quite happy ignoring letters and calls, but is there a risk I'll end up ruining my credit score or anything like that?
Sorry for all the questions - as inconvenient as this PNC is, its also fascinating finding out how all this works!
Thanks again,

Because the appeals service is a sham, it is not a genuine appeals service. So to clarify - am I ignoring them hoping they give up, and failing that just pay it if they get as far as court papers or letter before claim? Yes you are ignoring until he gives up. The only way your credit rating could be damaged is if:
(i) he takes you to court
(ii) you lose and
(iii) you fail to pay within 28 days of being ordered to do so by the court.
No-one has ever heard of Wild bringing a court claim. These one-man-bands are usually as thick as two short planks, quite incapable of figuring out how to bring a court claim even if they had the time to pursue it.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Thank you Bazster - a clear explanation of a complex issue.
