How to watch videos on computer upstairs on TV downstairs

My computer is upstairs in a spare bedroom and I watch a lot of TV shows via iplayer and 4 on demand and you tube and various sites.

My TV is downstairs.

You don't need to buy the overpriced SONY device. You can buy a Ethernet to Wireless adaptor. In the simplest terms, it plugs into the Ethernet port of the TV and creates a Wireless receiver. Then you should be able to stream wirelessly to the TV.
They start from as little as £11.68 here
Of course you can find higher quality dual band versions with more functionality if you are willing to pay more. In the reviews, someone claims to have used this model successfully with a Bravia TV.
