In the 80s I had a fur coat, as did my friend. My mum said we looked like a couple of (I shall put it politely - she didn't) ladies of the night in them!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

My Mum once introduced me as ‘my daughter, not the skinny pretty one I was telling you about’. She would never have thought I was sexy enough to be a lady of the night
