Edinburgh is lovely at Christmas even when it is even busier than usual.

There is just something so magical about it Beanie. It’s a feeling I wish I could bottle.

We were going to use the farm tickets yesterday but we had heavy rain and then snow . Winter is truly on it’s way. Boo!! Will use the tickets later on in the week instead.

Took Grandma out for a few hours this afternoon. Was lovely to see her and she’s looking really well. She’s obviously lonely though :(.

  • Lucky I have missed lots but great to see you did celebrate your special birthday (even if you never have another party!) and winning that comp in the summer sounds such a treat.

How has DH been recently? xx

He’s much the same in that we have good days and bad days. His medication is at a good level in that he hasn’t had a Tonic Clonic seizure for over 2 years, but he has regular partial seizures and mini seizures. Our biggest problem is his memory loss and mood swings, but 7 years post accident, we just accept it as ‘life’ now. 14 year old DS1 doesn’t help much though as he’s moody with hormones himself and they clash a lot :(. We still have days where DH doesn’t know where he is etc and can get very confused, but they don’t happen quite as regularly as they did in the first couple of years. Xx
