Wish you could all come to the party! I saw lots of friends today at a birthday party for one of DS2’s classmates, and feel more confident now that people are actually coming on Friday!! 2 lovely friends had clubbed together to buy me a voucher for a beauty treatment, and gave me it today so I can use it before the party :A. So kind and thoughtful.

Where has this week gone?!?!
Both boys have settled in well at school. The only problem has been DS1 not liking the food in the High School canteen, and now wants packed lunches. Otherwise all is good.
Party is tomorrow :eek:. Have been filling jars with sweets tonight for the ‘candy bar’ so that just leaves the buffet to do tomorrow. Bought some giant ‘4’ and ‘0’ balloons from Amazon and went to get them filled with helium today. Firstly, got a shock that they wanted £5 per balloon to fill :eek: and then more annoyingly, they found a hope in the ‘4’ so couldn’t continue to innflate it, but charged me £2 for the gas they’d already used :mad:. Hopefully will get a refund from Amazon, but had to buy more balloons from the shop at a cost of £14 :eek:.
