EMERGENCY FUND 1 = £50/£5,000. EMERGENCY FUND 2 = £10/£5,000.
CHRISTMAS SAVINGS = £0/£500. SEF = £1,400/£12,000 PREMIUM BONDS ME = £350. PREMIUM BONDS DH = £300.
HOLIDAY MONEY = £0 TIME LEFT TO PAY OFF MORTGAGE = 5 YEARS 1 MONTHS0 -
So a good few months ago, DH and I had a conversation;
DH - “There’s a triathlon I want to do end of April”
Me - “Really? That’s a lot of hard work training and Paramedic mate isn’t doing that anymore with you (injury). It’s the week before Florida too, and I’d really rather you didn’t just incase something goes wrong and it jeopardises the holiday”.
DH - “Ok, I won’t do it”.
And a more recent conversation;
DH - “I’ve signed up to that triathlon I told you about”.
Me - “£&@!!?/&”.
And the last couple of weeks have been all about the training etc, stuff all other plans. Now, the best bit. Had an email to say he was to be there to stat at 6.15am on Sunday :mad::mad::mad:.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Could you try telling him that if he's not well enough to go to Florida, you're going without him and he'll have to go into respite care while you're away?
Revitalise is good, and you may be able to get some help with costs (might be worth thinking about for other times too)

It was very selfish of him to book the triathlon without thinking of potential knock on effects. I hope it all goes ok. It's great that he's fit enough body wise to do it but risky for his other health issues so close to Florida.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
