Just popping by after far far too long..sorry PLMBL..where does the time go???

Meal sounds lush. Well done. And yay to weight loss. I need to lose a few kilos I have decided but am hoping to do it via drinking less wine :( and doing more exercise. Just not sure I can cope with restricting my food intake at the moment.. or am I just kidding myself and thats what I need to do as well?

Hope OH is getting better. It does all seem to come at once doesn't it. I agree re the sleeping bags. we have them plus an amazing double one (C8leman brand) which is excellent. Highly recommended whether in a tent or at home.

  • Sorry to hear that Lucky :( I guess it's caused by his brain injury. Does he have epilepsy because of the injury?

  • Hi all :hello::hello::hello:

Mrs H you are too kind! Have had major cravings for ‘naughty foods’ today and I am teetering on the edge :o. You are doing great and I’m sure you will get 3lbs easily!

Brizzle, it’s amazing how many calories are in wine and I’m sure cutting back will help. Thanks for popping in.

Hairy, yes the Epilepsy is a direct result of the head injury :(. We were told it’s usual for seizures to commence within the first 12 months of a head injury and thought we’d ‘gotten away with it’. Then fifteen months post accident they started :(.

NSD today. Think that’s number 8 for the month which is fantastic for us!!

Did you ever get in touch with your employer to see what was happening?

Sorry to hear about the partial seizures :(

Half a pound loss is good - it's all that's standing between me and not paying at WW.

Big hugs from someone who knows how it is with brain injuries xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Thanks SA, hope today has been a better day for you Xx

  • Ended up going out for lunch AGAIN for MiL’s Birthday :o. Thankfully she paid, but I feel I will pay in a different way on the scales on Friday :rotfl:.

Used a 10p off a litre of fuel voucher to save £2.50 today, and my trolley still had a £1 coin in it from a previous user, which I rehomed once I’d finished shopping :j. The coin that is, not the previous shopper :rotfl:.

DH had some waves this morning- while carving pumpkins :eek:. Knives and waves of fear do not mix!! My heart was in my mouth . Thankfully there was no blood spill Xx

  • Happy November all :D.

MiL took pity on me still wearing flip flops in the freezing weather, and bought me some FitFlop boots . They are my Christmas present but I have them now so I don’t perish from hyperthermia before Christmas. I’m very lucky :T.

Boys got lots of trick or treat sweets yesterday so that has bumped up the snack tin no end. I didn’t even have to hand any out as DH and I were at the last Tuesday SW group. Boys went out with their Gran.
