Yes he does drink the flat beer the next day Lucky. Until you live with someone with brain damage you don't realise the weird things they do. I know you can empathise with this.

Boo to the partial seizure :(

Good news re phones and reasonable food shop bill though :)
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Yet more banking for MiL today, this time chasing late dividend payments. B@rcl@ys are looking in to it now, and I think she'll be due some compensation . She will if I've got anything to do with it anyway!

Apart from that I've been busy in the kitchen, making cauliflower cheese soup for lunch, and Beef Goulash for the carnivores later. Hoping today will be a NSD.

  • Hairy that sounds scary!! Does the machine make a noise? I suppose even if it does it's better than the snoring, or sleeping with one eye open incase he stops breathing!

DH had a partial seizure last night just before bed :(. Thankfully it didn't progress, but he slept in this morning and is very tired today.

The machine make a slight whooshing noise but it's a million times quieter than the snoring, means he gets a good night's sleep and keeps him alert in the daytime, so it's transformed our lives :)

Sorry to hear about your DH's seizure :(

  • Lost 2.5lbs at Chub Club, which would've been great had I not needed 3lbs to make it a stone in 3 weeks :rotfl:. Ah well, next week!

DS1 is home and has had a fab week away :j. His suitcase of wet stinky clothes is less welcome, but it's good to have him back.

  • The suitcase smells like a riverbank Hairy! Bleurgh.

Well it's Saturday, which means only one thing - DS2 jumped out of bed at 5.30am with all the energy and enthusiasm he's been lacking all week, when I've had to drag him out of bed at 7.30am .

Saturday used to mean work too, which has reminded me I have heard absolutely NOTHING from them after the online rejection to extend my leave. Will have to contact my big boss I think.

Hope everyone has a lovely day Xx
