  • Thanks Beanie :A.

Plodding on this week, nothing major to report.

Haven't heard anything directly from work, but according to the online staff portal, my request to extend my leave has been rejected. Will write my resignation letter tomorrow.

2 more days until injections .

Unsupported and let down on one hand, as they had originally said my leave could be increased or reduced as required. On the other hand, they've already bent over backwards to meet my needs with only working the 3 hours, and I know I'm not exactly a brilliant business option (even if I do work my booty off when I'm there!). I will miss the discount and the craic, but overall I feel relieved at the thought of not going back.

Will have to dedicate even more time to trying to make money by other means!! Xx

  • Today DH and I went to see the new Kingsman film. It was brilliant, and all the better because a combination of a gift voucher from my stash, and DH's CEA card made it a free trip :T. Didn't quite make a NSD as DH bought a coffee, but no spends apart from that today.

Dodgy tummy tonight :(. Can't think of anything I've eaten that no one else has, so assume it's a bug . Hope everyone else avoids it, especially DS1 as he's off on a week long school trip from Saturday!!

    Injections tomorrow .

On a brighter note, a relative has just announced they are expecting :j. Love new babies in the family :D.

Hope your tummy upset is better soon and hope the injections work xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Injection wasn't as bad as I thought :T. Stung a bit, but the anaesthetic he put in at the same time soon kicked in. Foot felt much better while the anaesthetic hung around but has ached quite a bit since. Apparently I should see a massive improvement within a couple of days :D.

Next stop was chub club and I've lost another 3.5lbs :j. That's 11lb in 2 weeks . Only another 96lbs to go .

Then it was coffee afternoon for MacMillan at DS1's school, collected DS2, round to help MiL do some banking, made tea and packed for DS1's school trip as he leaves in the morning! Feel like I haven't stopped all day!
