  • Cheers SA, things seem calmer now, but as we both know, that can change in the blink of an eye :(.

Yesterday was a busy day. DH and the boys got measured for the suits for my Sister's wedding, then we grabbed some lunch and did some shopping before I had to go to work. Work was ok but I felt really poorly (sickly) when I got home so had an early night. Feel better this morning so taking the boys swimming soon.

Cleared S@nt@nder card :j:j. Just Bc@rd to go!

  • Thank you both! Xx

Two rude awakenings through the night. DS2 had a nightmare at 1am and then I awoke to the sound of the cat being sick at 4.30am :(. Thankfully DH didn't add to the drama but I'm shattered now!

Bought a new dress today for my cousin's wedding next week but when I got it home I discovered a hole in the seam :(. It wasn't cheap :o so I'm hoping to swap it for another one tomorrow. Gutted.

DH very sniffly tonight so man flu may be on the horizon .

Great news on the card front - another one bites the dust! Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight. Not good about the dress, hope they've got another one.

  • Me too SA! Couldn't take the dress back today as DS1 been off school poorly with a sore throat. Hopefully will get there tomorrow.

DH not been too snotty (cold wise!) today but he's just been really rude to a charity collector who knocked on the door. To be fair it was 8.30pm and DS2 was in bed so in some ways he was right to express 'concerns', however it was embarrassing and snotty (in a non-cold way!). Perhaps I should get a 'no cold callers' sign!

Lovely parents evening report for DS2 tonight :D. Missed chub club though.

    Hooray for the card :T:T

Ive got man flu as well.... so every sympathy with those with the sniffles and those who are caring from them. ;)

  • TC seizure a while ago :(. Managed one day less than 28 weeks this time which is the best ever. Not really surprised as it's been brewing for a while, but bet he'll be gutted in the morning when he realises (he's sleeping it off and I'm awake waiting to see what happens next!).

So, might as well use the time for a quick catch up.

Parents Eve for DS1 was Wednesday and that was really good too. Super proud of them both. We went out to a dessert place to treat them both for Family Fun Wednesday afterwards, which was amazing but extremely calorific!!

Went shopping with MiL and she has very kindly bought me an outfit for my Cousin's wedding :A. I love it and it meant I could just return the other dress with the hole in the seam and bank that money again :T.

F1rst Ut1lity have deposited £140 in my bank account which I'm surmising is the Warm Home discount. They are supposed to add it to my account but as it's in credit I assume they couldn't (has happened before). Will have a think how best to use it.

Right. DH has been calm for an hour or so, so I'm going to attempt to go back to sleep. Fingers crossed the rest of the night is uneventful Xx
