Hope you are alright PLMBL and it has turned out to be nothing. xx
  • Thanks all. Had scan at 4pm but surgeon who needed to review it was in the operating theatre, and as yet I've heard nothing so I'm in again for another night :(.

Pain is more manageable but haven't moved much today, still very sore when I stand up/turn over etc. May throttle the lady in the next bed if she snores like a wilderbeast again tonight. She also has a flatulence problem .

Oh goodness, Lucky - hope you manage to get some rest tonight, and Surgeon has positive news for you in the morning (((hugs))) also hope all is well at home. The family must be worrying about you - has MIL stepped in?
  • Wishing you all the best. I share my room with someone who has awful flatulence and snores loudly — my dog!

hi Lucky - you need ear plugs or some music you can play to block out other peoples noises. That is the worst thing about hospitals and there is nothing the hospital can do about it. Have you got them organised to get you what you need. Perhaps that would be something that DS1 can do that would help him focus on something OTHER than that you are in hospital. Giving him a specific task may divert him. just a thought!
