Coventry Poppy Bond Offers 2.4%

We have a climate emergency and need to re-think investing strategies to avoid sectors that are part of the problem such as oil & gas and embrace climate-friendly options such as renewable energy.

I`m a great fan of Coventry B/S but
    3 years ---- 2.4%
    1.92% after 20% tax.
    No thanks.

If you were a commercial investor with £billions to invest for 10 years you couldn't even get 2.4% at that level of risk. 10 year Government bonds currently yield 2.25%.

You can also get 2.55% from Shawbrook Bank and give the .15% to a charity of your choice.
Whilst I have a lot of respect for wounded soldiers I prefer to contribute to the local foodbank than the British Legion because it does not discriminate against people - it is open to everyone, and unlike the British Legion it does not have managers on £150k +++ pay packages.
