Scottish Power Online Fixed Price Energy March 2015 Offer with Freedom
Hi all
I am currently on the above tarriff which obviously ends 31/03/15 and according to my last bill, I would be better off moving to their Online Fixed Price Energy December 2015.
The following cancellation charges apply to my current tariff:
You can end this Offer at any time before 31st
Can anyone confirm if I would be charged the cancellation charge if I was to move to the other tariff. I have a feeling I would as the the 2nd statement say's 'move to another of our 'OFFER' products.
Thanks

You can move to another Scottish Power Tariff without paying an exit fee0

Thanks for this.
Still deciding whether or not to move to this tariff.0 -
If you change tariffs within SP there are no exit fees but be aware that they may miss a DD payment while the tariffs change. I don't know why.Je suis sabot...0

You might as well. The new one has no exit fees, so you can keep looking around afterwards if you want.Hoof_Hearted wrote: »If you change tariffs within SP there are no exit fees but be aware that they may miss a DD payment while the tariffs change. I don't know why.
I had that. I wonder if it's to do with the notice period required before a direct debit is taken, and I swapped only a few days before the debit date.0 -
That tariff is so October 2013.
Move on, quick. Winter is coming.
High standing charge, exit penalty, the only saving grace is the low unit rate. So if you are a VERY high usage customer, it can still make sense.0 -
According to my bill I will only save £16.28 on gas and £4.64 on electricity per year by moving to the December 2015 tariff but I suppose its better in my back pocket.
SP have just reduced by monthly DD from £82 to £80 too. After my last bill I'm £83 in credit.0
