Club Lloyds Monthly saver

Hi,
When I opened my Lloyds monthly saver I make a £400 faster payment on the 29th. I then realised I had to use a standing order, so set one up for the 8th of each month.
Any ideas what will happen about the extra payment I made in the first monthly period? Will I still receive interest on it?

My husband and I have a joint Club Lloyds Current account. Is it possible for us to have a Club Lloyds Monthly Saver account in our individual names?
It says in the information/terms that you can only have one sole account or one joint account. Can I presume that each holder of a joint account can hold a Club Lloyds Monthly Saver account?0 -
I would say each of you can have their own Monthly Saver as a sole account, as long as you don't have a joint Monthly Saver already. I would just go ahead and open one each.0

Thanks Archi. Opened one each with Standing Orders starting tomorrow, then following advice on this thread I'll change them both to 1st from December to get 13 payments in the year.
When I posted this I'd opened one savings account, clicking the right buttons to open a joint account. It had only opened in my name, not joint. Just as well Lloyds online banking has a few gremlins as it gave me time to think again. So we've got one account each to make the most of the 4% interest.0 -
Hi, can the standing order come out of any Lloyds account or does it have to be from the club Lloyds?

It doesn't even have to be a Lloyds account.xxdeebeexx wrote: »Hi, can the standing order come out of any Lloyds account or does it have to be from the club Lloyds?

Hi PParka,
Interest won't be paid on the £400 credited as a Faster Payment.
Thanks,

This is very worrying for me. I have been funding my monthly saver from my Nationwide Flexaccount for all 12 payments. I set up a regular payment with Nationwide to fund the Lloyds saver on the 5th of every month and on checking my Lloyds account I notice that each payment is shown as FPI(Faster Payment Incoming).Lloyds_Bank wrote: »Hi PParka,

Does this mean that I will receive no interest at all on my £4800?0 -

No need to worry - I was paid interest on my transfer by FPI (my first deposit).0
