Hi folks,
I need to get some new security, as free Virgin running out very soon.
I have heard there are some good "free" security anti-viruses etc one can download.
But would any of these have Parental Controls (for my son).
Or should I just spend the money necessary?
Any thoughts, many thanks in advance. I find it all rather bewildering.

I thought that the parental controls at VM were free for life as part of the Government initiative that they all provide some sort of net control as an option.
They are not connected to the Antivirus package.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

It was free for the first year only Rumrat. As I'm leaving Virgin anyway, because being evicted, doubt I can take it with me.
But I have found some more info on MSE simply on free security, and maybe will just have to look more.
Thank you though.0 -
F-Secure is paid for after the first year, but, they have a free parental control option also. Mute point anyway as you are leaving..
Yes, plenty of free alternatives out there. Good luck.
