Hi all,
Wondering if someone could inform me whether I have a case regarding a parking charge I found attached to my windscreen
I parked in a doctor parking bay at 2.30am as I used a 24 hour gym for only 40 mins knowing that the surgery is closed and there was many other doctor parking places and all empty.
There were signs up saying that permits must be displayed.
Anyway I have read a few threads about these private companies and am in two minds whether to pay them. If I don't, what is the realistic outcome for ignoring the inevitable threatening letters.
The fine notice does say I can appeal and if unsuccessful I can appeal to popla.
The company is called cpm car park management UK.
Thanks in advance

Then do exactly that. You will find how to do all that in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky near the top of the forum index, one page back from here.
By the way, this is not a 'fine', so don't feel there is any requirement for it to be paid. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Use the 'Forum Jump' from here to get to page one of the forum where you started, and read the sticky thread in capitals 'Private Parking ticket? Newbies please read these FAQs first'! Everything you need to win this appeal, is already there.johnd19811 wrote: »Hi all,
