Me Bad.. Ignored UKCPS and Now MIAH solicitor letter

Hi,
I received a windscreen uKCPS PCN in April for parking outside marked bay. I am stupid as I ignored the 2 or 3 notices I had from them.. Where I now believe if I had read the newbie thread here I could have appealed...
Miah solicitors have written today asking for ridiculous sum within 14 days
I have looked on uKCPS website and my PCN number isn't there. Why would that be?
What would be the best thing to do now.
I think I can state the unreasonable charges using the template that you would use for a first appeal??
Or should I wait for the next gun to come out from Miah?

No idea, sorry.
Try a forum search on 'Miah', there were loads of threads about 3-4 weeks ago. The general advice is to ignore Miah; they just seem to be selling 'solicitor's letters' (with a very dodgy associate involved) and your inclination is right at the moment.Or should I wait for the next gun to come out from Miah?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Because it's no longer set as actively able to be appealed, I expect. Nowt to stop you sending the sort of letter in the post (headed up with name/address and car reg, and Miah's ref) which has been discussed on all the dozens of other Miah threads though. You do need to read those to see the bunch you are dealing with here (Miah and UKCPS deserve each other!).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
