Just signed up for BT Vision - Where to put it?

I've just signed up for BT Vision but can't decide how to integrate with my existing home network.
I currently have:
1) Wireless router upstairs where the phone socket is.
2) Wireless Mac in study.
3) Wireless XP laptop which travels round the house.
4) Linux installed on an Xbox (see http://www.xbox-linux.org) hard-wired into the router (running a webserver and database)
I'm going to swop with the current router with a home hub and use Powerplugs (provided by BT) to connect the new BT Vision box (to be sited downstairs) to the home hub over the mains electricity.
My problem is that I want to move the Xbox next to the TV.
So is there a cheap way I could split the ethernet connection before it gets into the BT Vision box?
I have so far discounted:
a) make the Xbox wireless as this would have be either USB or involve soldering
b) get another set of powerplugs as this would cost about £40
Thanks for any help.

You could get a cheap ethernet hub off ebay? This is a dumb device but will allow you to put up to 4 ethernet devices into one port on the router for example...
I wouldnt recommend putting more than 2 devices into a hub though due to collissions...[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."
