    Yes you can, very easily.

What you may want to do (to avoid running a second cable from bedroom 1 to 2) is get a cheap switch and a couple of short wires (should be under £15 all in, as cheap 5-8 port switches are down to about a tenner), connect that to the existing cable from the first bedroom, then connect the second PC and PS3 to the switch*.

The cheaper, but messier option is to run a second cable between the bedrooms.

That is assuming the PS3 has a standard ethernet connection (not wireless only), and you've got an adsl router, not just modem:)

*I've got a router wired to a pair of switches for that sort of reason, I needed more ports in my bedroom (i've got the cable modem, and router sitting on my old 8 port switch), and it was easier to buy another switch for one of the other rooms than to run another cable neatly to it.

    I would expect so.

    Assuming you have:
    1) a spare ethernet port in pc-bedroom2
    2) a CROSSOVER ethernet cable

then you should be able to connect it all up and share the internet connection from the pc.

What operating system are you running? Try: http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp_ics/

If not, hasn't the PS3 got Wi-Fi built it? You could get a wireless router (which also have ethernet ports to keep your existing wired connections)

Assuming the ADSL modem/router currently lets you use both PC's at once, the switch should quite literally just drop in and add more ports at the point you need them.
You shouldn't need to change any settings, assuming the machines are set to find an ip address etc automatically (most are by default, as it's the easiest and fastest way)

The reason is because most/all modern routers tend to have support for many more connected devices than they actually have the physical connections for (it's not uncommon for a router to support 50 or so devices, but only have 4 ports), the switch just adds the extra physical connection points :)

Mrscruffy's suggestions are also good, especially if your current router is wireless, however if you're already running a router ICS usually won't work on the second PC (at least not without fiddling), bridging the connection probably would, but requires XP Pro I believe.

I'm probably biased, but not a great fan of doing things in software where relatively cheap hardware will do the job, not least because hardware tends to be easier to troubleshoot (my brother in law uses ICS to share the connection between their 3PC's and 360, and it causes me much more grief than my own, larger and more varied network).
