Unclaimed Tesco vouchers scam

On 31st October I recieved a genuine - I believe- email from Tesco telling me to expect my clubcard vouchers through the post as usual and inviting me me to log onto my clubcard account to see the vouchers, this I have not done. However almost immediatly I started receiving 3 or 4 emails a day reminding me I had forgotten to download my vouchers although the body of the email only asks me to log in to complete a survey. With all the news about the Tesco website being compromised has anyone else any experience of these emails. I am new to the MSE forum and if this is being discussed elsewhere can someone point me in the right direction

Seems unlikely Tesco would send several emails to you.
This 'survey' - what questions did it ask?
Were there questions where the answers would allow someone else to gain access to you details!??
Or were they questions relating to some aspect of Tesco Service, in which case check the T & Cs.
Also, call Tesco Clubcard and talk to them about the unused Vouchers.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Thanks for your interest. I dont intend opening the survey link - just in case - but the email appears to come from aaa@mxbbb.detectual.com, where aaa is a name and bbb is a two or three digit number so are probably just generated. I'm just puzzled as to HOW this person or company suddenly knew I had recieved an email from Tesco about vouchers. This postal address appears at the bottom of the email - Electric Delivery
2885 Sanford Ave SW, #28155
Grandville, MI 494180 -
If you Google that postal address it comes up with all sorts of references to scams.0

They will know its the time of year when the Xmas savings ones get released. Once they know that just blitz lots of email addresses and see who bites...0

Reminds me of many years ago when my old boss decided he wanted to go into private detective work. This was before the internet but just after mobiles were reasonably common.
We had a a wife who suspected her husband was having an affair and had found a mystery phone number on his mobile phone. She wanted the name and address of the other woman.
I rang the number and said I was ringing from Tesco doing a market survey and in return for a few minutes of her time she would earn some Tesco vouchers.
I asked a load of questions about the store lay out and fresh fruit and finished the call with and to whom shall I send the vouchers and to what address...
Similar way of getting your details but the internet has updated it and added the sting that they will try and ask you enough questions to be able to guess your passwords and security questions0 -
It has now switched to Asda
