Phoned up for another issue and just double checked whilst I was there, the guy said that he's checked this before and done it multiple times and it's always worked, he doesn't know why others flat out refuse to do it.
Got my first gross reward payment this month.
I really hope you got the guy's name and number, and can PM it to me ASAP...0 -

Others refuse to do it because it's against the terms of the a/c, as quoted by Archi Bald above. If this guy really has given you the bonus gross, instead of net, then he shouldn't have done so and he could get into trouble when his boss finds out.0 -

It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -
£6.25 minus £2.50 is.............not £5.00.0

The tax will have been refunded on two reward payments previously paid net (i.e. £1.25 x 2).Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

They won't have to manually credit any more tax refunds as there's no tax taken off from the point the account was registered gross.0
