Private Parking charge notice

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice over a parking charge notice from a private car parking management firm that I have received unfairly,I was in a hire vehicle at the time if this makes a difference. one of the first points I wanted to check is the date of the event was 12/08/2014 but the date of issue on the letter that came through the post was 18/10/2014. Now I thought I read somewhere that the date of issue needed to sooner than that? Any advice would be helpful , thanks

It makes little difference - your contract with the hire co will almost certainly only cover legit/legal tickets and fines, not shonky PPC invoices.

Reading the Newbies Sticky at the top of this forum should sort you out.

How do rules about keeper liability matter seeing as presumably you've been named as the driver? Have you now been extended the chance to appeal rather than ignore? If so then just use the template in the Newbies thread (use the Forum Jump to get to page one).

    Which PPC?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
