If you're just having a fiver each, would it not be better just cutting out the presents altogether, or each person pick a sibling/in law out of a hat and just spend more on one present?

marksys have lots of smellies a pound each. like shower gel, bath foam. hand soap, body lotion
  • Poundland have some mini ice buckets in which you could fill with some mini bottles of wine, one of the shaped silicone ice cube trays and something edible to enjoy with the wine possibly?
  • If it were me receiving the gift, I'd prefer a nice bottle of wine to enjoy as a couple rather than lots of things gathered together to look like its cost more.

I've had to do 3 £5 secret santas this year and I've got all of them from Hotel Chocolat. They do several different items, including this Robin.

I picked them up yesterday (they do Click & Collect where I live) and they are all already wrapped in bags with gift tags on the front. Even better as no extra wrapping to do!

    This secret santa I did:
1 x mini bottle of wine £1.99 from Tesco
1 x bath bomb from Lush (I used the cheapest, which is bear shaped and £1.95)
1 x "dessert collection" Pergale chocolates from Poundland (£1)

I did it for my partner, as he got somebody he didn't know at all at work. Dull but covered various general "likes." (I hope!)
  • have a look at "not on the high street" website they have some unusual bits n bobs under a fiver, earlier this year as an example i got a nice notebook made from scrap sari material with hand made paper for £5

I made a biscuit selection for my relatives the other year; shortbread, peppermint candy cane cookies, oat biscuits and gingerbread. I also covered some of the biscuits in chocolate to make it seem like a larger selection.

A bit of tissue paper and a personalised contents card for each bundle finished it all off quite nicely :)
