Help - urgently need Powerpoint

Hi all,

I promised a client I would create them a Powerpoint presentation, thinking I have Powerpoint, but alas this was on my old pc that crashed and burned a few months ago.

How can I get hold of an online copy - tried searching for open source but no luck with any direct links that made any sense - can anyone get me out of this fix?

Wanted to work on this tonight! :o

Many thanks

Open office includes Impress which is similar to Powerpoint and is compatible as far as I know with ppt format.

When you've downloaded Impress, click Tools > Options. Double click "Load Save" & click "General".
In the drop-down menu at the bottom where it says "Docoment type" select "Presentation". in the adjacent dropdown, select "Microsoft Powerpoint 97/200/XP". Click OK, then It'll automatically save your work as .ppt files.
