Smart Parking Charge Asda

Hi guys, I received a smart parking charge yesterday in the post for parking in Asda for over and hour of the recommended time. Just wondering whether I should ignore this? Or appeal? I've read a few different things here and there, some say ignore and some say appeal

Do not ignore. Use a two pronged approach - Appeal using the standard letter in the newbies thread. And get in touch with ASDA and ask them to cancel it - having valid receipts/banks statement showing spending in the store will help.0

Appeal of course, unless this is in Scotland or NI. As ever, this is covered in the sticky thread at the top of this parking forum - which is why I wrote it. Sadly, last year it got silly as we could not keep up with all the ''help I have got a private parking ticket, what do I do?'' threads so I wrote a sticky thread BEGGING newbies to 'read these FAQS first'.Hi guys, I received a smart parking charge yesterday in the post for parking in Asda for over and hour of the recommended time. Smart almost always just cancel when they get sent the appeal template from the NEWBIES thread, and if not then the sticky tells you how to win at POPLA and explains what that is...
No they really DON'T, not for two years...check the date of threads, don't read old stuff.I've read a few different things here and there, some say ignore and some say appealPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
