hi all
I am sending off my request for a credit report via the post today.
However i find it a bit strange they do not require proof of address / who I am in?
I just put the form, the postal order for £2 in and thats it?

If you are on the electoral roll they will use that and other information from your credit file to confirm your identity.
How long have you lived there? If it's not long they may ask you for proof.
Remember to give them all your previous addresses for the period they ask for, 6 years I thinkChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
I actually just moved house like 2 weeks ago. but my old address i was at for 10 years. so hope they do not ask for previous info as I need it quite urgently0

Hi Gforgosu,
When you apply please make sure to provide all of your addresses for the last 6 years, as well as your current address. We will also need your full name, date of birth and for the application to be signed.
Then send the completed form along with the £2.00 postal order.
We do have a number of security checks in place when we receive your application, if we can't confirm your ID then we will contact you to request further documentation.
The additional documents would be two original bills or statements linking you to the address you have applied from, and a copy of ID docs such as a passport. These extra documents are not always required, but we will let you know if they are.
Kind Regards
