Unfortunately one of the side effects of getting older is being unable to drink as much as you used to. I find it hard to stay awake after the first glass of wine nowadays - obviously this doesn't happen when I'm out though :rotfl:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

So yesterday was an interesting day.
Lightening was well , awesome if scary.
Torrential rain.
I was going to a friends for dinner.
So I picked up another friend & off we went.
Got there & friends whose house we were at insisted on me taking my car home & she followed me down & brought me back to her house.
She had got some lovely gin for me & wanted me to be to be able to have it.
We had a lovely meal & a lovely night.
A tad fragile this morning!
