I assume what was meant was "a lovers tiff type thing" rather than a domestic abuse incident - I can identify with that, having on one occasion asked a woman in a similar situation of she was OK or needed help - only to get a gob-full of abuse right back from her followed by the chap involved letting go of her to advance on me in a threatening manner. I'd think long and hard before stopping in that situation again, I confess - sorry if that makes me an awful person! What I WOULD do though is ring the police from a safe distance away.
Beanie someone walking round you when you fell right in front of them is dreadful - hope you're not too sore.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hope you're OK Beanie. I can't believe somebody just walked around you
My natural instinct would be to pick somebody up and I've done it a couple of times. One was an old lady was with her grand-daughter. She fell off a kerb and while I was scooping her up and asking if she was OK, the girl went off on one immediately about how she was going to sue the council. Didn't even bend her back to help her own Grandma but definitely saw the £ signs! Disgusting. xx

That makes sense EH (and you're very obviously not an awful person). I do hope the recent promotions about coercive control etc will help change what people see as acceptable actions - my local police and council seem to be putting a lot of effort into it.Debt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

Sorry to read about the very unhelpful woman
By contrast when I fell over on the way home from work a couple of years ago I just wanted to get up, dust myself off and carry on. Cue a large crowd of people "helping" and their alarm at the "blood" which turned out to be the bottle of red wine in my shopping bag that had smashed. So embarrassing.
