Beanie, maybe have a look on ebay? There are quite a lot of brand new fleeces in some of the outdoors shops on there. There seems to be lots of half zip or full zip ones for under £20 (especially Regatta or Tresspass brands). Some aren't that thick though so read the info carefully! I recently bought a Regatta full zip black one for £15 from one of the ebay shops which is perfectly fine for winter layering.
I also like the M&S heatgen thermal tops. Very thin and don't look like thermals, but are very, very warm and good as a base layer under your normal tops / jumpers etc. I live in them in the winter as a layer under spring / autumn thickness clothes as its hard to get warm winter jumpers in plus sizes. You can get them for about 1/2 the M&S shop price (in "last years colours" mostly) in some of the ebay shops too. Maybe avoid the sparkly ones though unless you like ALL your clean washing slightly sparkly for the 1st few washes! :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

I love heatgen - there's conventional ones and skiing extra thick ones. Once we hit the colder weather I wear one and a pair of thick tights under a pinafore dress. It's pretty much my staple look for spring and autumn.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Good idea to try the eBay shops. I've had some great White Stuff bits from them for a fraction of full retail price.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
