Well, any time you have to visit A&E thats going to feel stressful, and you (we!) will feel it the next day. Try to coast along a bit at the foodbank today, beanie, it's a big ask. Thinking of you.

Glad to hear all was well in the end with the poorly relative. In times of crisis the NHS are brilliant (as I've found through bitter experience!).

Happy belated birthday to the best boy :) So pleased he's come through the rough patch he had earlier this year.

You were very strong to resist the lure of rehoming a cat. It's not the food cost it's the vet bills. I don't think I could go to a re-homing place and not be tempted to adopt them all.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

It was really hard to put my sensible head on & resist.
Cant get one of them out my head.
It was not the right time though :(

  • I hope you have a relaxing day Beanie after your busy day at the food bank.

I went to the hospital with DH on Monday morning for a scan of his arteries and it was very tiring, so I'm not surprised your hospital visit was stressful.
