    For your friend - if they are drawn to alternative therapies, candles are always a good way to go! Or something homemade (knitted tarot reading cloth or tarot bags if that's their thing?). Or afternoon teas are always lovely. A few years back National Trust were selling cards which included a free NT tea if they are members. I used that for my grandparents a few times!

    My weather app told me I had thunderstorms yesterday evening - I didn't, but it looked like it could. I'm still entranced by the graphics on modern apps, so it was quite fun in itself :)
