Re Panorama - I didn't see it but know what it was about. It's being described as the "New Thalidomide" in some circles I gather. Terrifying.

Someone at work this week referred to my sweater as a hickey sweater because it has a loose polo neck. Made me laugh as it reminded me of a scene in the kitchen when I was about 15 with my mother quizzing me while my brother stood behind her laughing his head off.

Some more cards done & dusted.
Will have to brave the post office at some point

    A busy day tomorrow
I have to help shape a report for a charity that I am involved with.
Then is the hamper night for our local foodbank & as I am on the commitee will have to trundle along to do what I can.
I believe we have more than 60 hampers to be put together plus the toy bags

    Well done on the hampers.
Is this a new charity? I thought you resigned?

You should be a proud Beanie - lots of people will have fuller tummies because of your kindness. What an age we live in that we have folk relying on such kindness though.

Take it easy if you go out in the ice - ice rink weather here so I bet you've got it a lot worse.

  • That's great, beanie. The hampers sound brilliant, a great thing to do before Christmas.

Be careful though, don't hurt yourself! It's very slippy underfoot here.

True to form I did slip on the ice.
Could not get up so was a tad stressed.
Anyone some one came along & managed on 3rd attempt to haul me up.
So a community campus, salt on disabled parking but NONE at all on the part you have to walk on to get into campus.
    Not best pleased.

So we ended up with 90+ hampers.
Just glad I was not part of the delivery team
