Sorry about the friendship but it's best to cut off if it's not giving you anything!

It always helps to know that it isn't just you that is feeling the friendship is only one way.
I have a friend who is the exact opposite which sometimes annoys me.  I'll say something along the lines of I had a cold a couple of weeks ago but I'm absolutely fine now.  She then goes on to ask if I have had any blood tests recently (or similar).  I feel like screaming no but then feel bad because she has already told me all the tests she has had to have in the last couple of weeks.
I wonder sometimes if she just doesn't believe me because I am almost 20 years older than she is & she can't believe I can be reasonably fit whilst she is definitely not.
  • Sorry to hear you are out if sorts Beanie , not easy ending a friendship but sometimes enough is enough . Are the money worried temporary ? Or due to work on house , generally the cost of living is so hard x

I am taking a step back from a friendship too Beanie, fed up with it being in their terms and after two cancellations in a row I said I was too busy to meet up on Saturday. Just can’t be bothered, she isn’t a bad person just a bit self absorbed.

Absolutely this. If this year has taught me anything it’s that life is too short.
