A lovely day today. Someone here painting my fence at last which is fantastic. However it's sadly going to be vastly over budget as I had no idea that it would take so long. I only see my DS and the GKs on average every 3-4 weeks. I’m very aware I’m not as close to the GKs as DIL’s mum is as she lives nearby and sees them a lot. I feel DS has got a whole part of his life I know very little about because of distance. On the plus side (or maybe not 🤣) I still have DD living with me so I see her a bit too often 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
