Feel free to ignore my rant.
The new Ardrossan to Brodick on Arran is finally in service.
Years late & millions over budget. All good & its looks good. Certainly bigger than the old Clansman! Or Isle of Arran!
Except~~ the new ferry is too big for Ardrossan harbour/port.
You could not make it up.
So it's Troon to Brodick. Which takes longer & there will be less ferries.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. You really couldn’t make that up. Is that also the one that emits more CO2 than its predecessor?

Is that the ferry they showed on tv yesterday and when it had some sort of promotional sail a while back they’d painted windows and had something made of plywood to make it look as if it was finished but it wasn’t 😳😳
Hope your new lodger settles in well and it works for you both.
Stay warm and stay safe 👍

That's the very one but to be fair the new one is much bigger so its not a fair comparison.themadvix said:You really couldn’t make that up. Is that also the one that emits more CO2 than its predecessor?

Ah, fair enough. Although that does require it to be full and actually fit in the port!beanielou said:
