The doors are 28 years old.

Are you going to give them a birthday party? ;)

    How are you both?

Anyway. In part because it all feels like the end of an era I have finally got the divorce papers ready to be signed and will take them to the court next week for signing. Mixed emotions to be honest but it is time.

Deeply sad for the young person I was who thought I had the world at my feet and that I could do anything.

Being able to do anything, is not the same as being able to everything. Choosing a path to take, means choosing other paths not to take. Don't be sad for those paths - they were simply not up to your standards.

On a separate note you've brought to my attention the fact that we're about to have patio doors in our kitchen and Mr SA is prone to falling. I think you can imagine the scenario playing in my head!

I can't remember whether I have forgotten how to multi-quote or if I never knew!

Z you are not old and stupid - you are however always readily available with witty quote.

We have cracked glass often in the houses we finish if the builders are not particularly careful. I can't think of an instance where it hasn't been exactly the same a year later at the End of Defect Inspection.

However I did fall through a door when I was about 10 - that wasn't safety glass. That was the good ole 1970's - what an era. I was falling through doors, John Noakes was climbing up Nelson's Collumn armed only with a ladder leaning the wrong way!

Butti I remember one of my mum's foster children doing a backward roll straight through our glass door in the 1970s. Oh the days before health and safety :)

Speak the truth as you see it Beanie..it's the only way

Sorry re stress re glass, but even at 28 years old would think its safety glass. But worth checking that's for sure.

Hope a lovely new lodger comes along soon. We made an excuse re one a while back and effectively gave notice...and were very glad we did. Currently have house to ourselves and although we miss the money, it's nice to have the peace and lack of responsibility too. So win win either way. They gotta be rght for you
