Things seem to have settled a bit in beanie land for which I am very grateful.Things are plodding on here.I have just read the gas & electric meters so should get an update on that soon. The original loan has been redeemed & the new one is up & running & I have made a wee OP.I know I have done the right thing by the situation. So obviously I start 2024 with a larger debt. However I am in the lucky position of no other debt & of course no mortgage.I am still struggling with pain & tiredness. However as I type Miss S is purring on my knee. 🐱🐱
My house fairy has been this morning & the house is back to some semblance of normality which is good. I am lucky to have her.Christmas bits & bobs are all away so that’s good. Here’s to a happy healthy & prosperous new year for us all.Thank you all for your support.I am grateful to have you.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Happy new 2024!DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
