I’m sorry to hear you don’t enjoy working at the CS. It’s your free time you’re giving up so no point carrying on if it’s not right for you.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I love the whole "refilling the cup" thing. Definitely, beanie, don't do it.KajiKita said:
Then stop … 😊beanielou said:Whispers. I am really not enjoying the charity shop.
You give a lot to many people in many ways. If the CS is not ‘refilling your cup’ it’s not the right thing for you.KK x2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -
I’m also regretting volunteering to help at the local Christmas lights switch on. I offered to help run the tombola stall but it’s proving to be more hassle than I anticipated.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

You give so much to so many Beanie, you don’t need to do the charity shop. Pack it in now before. Winter sets in and you’re having to go out in all weathers.
Sorry to hear you’ve had another fall though.I’m pleased the physio is writing to your GP…..not sure what he can do but the physios weight behind you might spur them into something for you.
Loving that you’ve got a new laptop 👏👏January spends - £587.586 -
If the stuff that you’re not enjoying around the charity shop might be possible to fix so you DO enjoy it - then perhaps think about how you might be able to make changes. If it’s not “fixable” though, there is definitely no shame in stepping away.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I will continue to ponder re the shop.Today the central heating & boiler has been serviced & a new filling loop fitted.I have paid that as he is a sole trader & the electrician for the light fitted outside as I got the bill, the window cleaner has been & has been paid. Got them to do the conservatory windows which I don’t always get done. Now I am skint but pleased with things achieved.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters.
