On the NB theme the pictures of the bass rock & of ‘my’ bridges are among the greatly pared down amount of pictures that are going back up in the sitting room which is getting painted as I type.It’s the wee things.By the weekend everything will be done & back in place I hope.Next job is the hall ~~ I really really need to decide on the colour.I want a nice blue of some sort.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I saw Bass Rock for the first time a few weeks ago…..in fact we overlooked it at the campsite. That was very surreal - we were watching the sunset and somebody was playing a Scottish folk song on a penny whistle as the sun went down. It was really atmospheric and special. Anyway we discovered it was a man in the next tent and we started chatting. We have some friends in Dundee and the lady is now deceased but was a special lady who had been awarded an MBE. It turns out he was the postman and still keeps in touch with the family. Small world or what

So the sitting room is done & I am SO pleased with it.
I have bitten the bullet & l have told the decorator the hall next & have even chosen the colour.
I am in his wee book but not sure when.
